Medex-Media's Annual Industry survey continues to provide valuable insight into the healthcare congress environment. In 2009/2010, 53% of responders told us their exhibit budgets will be cut by at least 10% next year, and 66% said they were more likely to stick with current vendors in uncertain times. However, those who are looking to move are increasingly willing to consider green alternatives, and there has been an enormous amount of interest in reorganising the exhibit hall floor, with 82% of responders indicating they would be willing to consider alternatives such as smaller booths arranged by indication or therapy area.
